Join the Women’s Caucus of the Connecticut State Legislature and the Coalition Against Casino Expansion in Connecticut (CACE) at a forum on the economic and social downside of further gambling in the state, including casinos, internet gambling, and sports betting.

Rep. Anne Hughes and Rep. Jill Barry are co-hosting the forum. Speakers will include author and former Congressman Bob Steele and Joanie Masot, a woman in recovery for problem gambling.  A Q&A session for the legislators will follow the presentations.

"This is an extremely important and timely event in view of the enormous amount of favorable publicity gambling expansion has received and the  numerous casino expansion bills that could be decided in the current session of the Legislature," said CTUCC Legislative Advocate Michele Mudrick.

Mudrick is urging CTUCC members to contact their Legislators (whether women or men) to urge them to attend the forum.  Find your legislator here.
