Fairfield East Interfaith Youth Hangout
For youth of all faith traditions in grades 7-12
This event is open to United Church of Christ youth from the Fairfield East Association as well as ecumenical and interfaith partners.  Youth must be accompanied by an adult and pre-registration is requested before October 29.
  • Fun, Food, Fellowship!
  • Build relationships among neighbors from a variety of faith traditions
  • Examine stereotypes and explore skills to confront microaggressions
  • Conversation about spiritual practices in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam
  • Education and networking for youth advisors
 
Tentative Schedule (3:00 to 6:00 PM)
Welcome, blessing, reading from sacred scriptures
Mix it up activity (Team building games) 
Conversation- panel with breakout groups and programming for youth advisors
Refreshments – including halal and kosher foods
Closing prayer
