Community program invites people in transition to re-imagine life
NIANTIC – Re-Imagining Life in Transition will be the topic of conversation during a four session program at Niantic Community Church beginning, February 17 through March 10, on Saturdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The program is suitable for any adult experiencing significant changes in their life such as retirement, empty nests, loss of a spouse or partner, or loss of any kind. Using The One Life We’re Given – finding the wisdom that waits in your heart
by Mark Nepo as a point of inspiration, small group discussion, meditation, music, and expressive art exercises will offer tools for re-imagining life, in a confidential, affirming, non-judgmental atmosphere.
Nepo is a poet and philosopher, best known for his New York Times best seller The Book of Awakening. The program is being facilitated by NCC Community Minster Patty Chaffee and church member Carol Vara, MSW. Participants can find The One Life We’re Given
