Your support helps Silver Lake Conference Center strengthen our program offerings to better transform the lives of more than 900 campers and more than 3,000 retreat guests each year.
A new waterfront Spin Wheel consists of a “bongo” jumping platform in the center of a spoked wheel
Campers can bounce or work together, running around the water wheel to make it rotate on the water
Campers nurture a sense of teamwork and improve communication, both core to our mission
A new freezer will allow Silver Lake to make better use of resources, improve energy use, and keep food costs down
Faith Formation Ministries
Cultivating & Equipping Leaders
Your support helps congregational leaders deepen their call and leadership capacities for making disciples of Jesus for church and community.
Congregational leaders gather to explore 21st century discipleship and Messy Church
Leaders are trained to facilitate Communities of Practice and receive a stipend for generously sharing their gifts
Practitioners participate in Communities of Practice at no cost
Congregations engage in Innovation Labs to redesign faith formation
Leadership development scholarships for those with little or no continuing education funds
90% of your gift will be put to work in Connecticut. 10% of your gift will support national ministries of the United Church of Christ.
