Debby oversees the Giv2 program, which offers young people opportunities to serve their communities and reflect on that experience as part of their faith. Giv2 chapters bring high school age youth together from a cluster of local churches in a geographic area for service projects, fellowship, and conversation. Debby Kirk has spent many years as a Christian Educator and church youth worker. She also serves as Director of Youth Ministry for the First Congregational Church UCC in Woodstock and the East Woodstock Congregational Church UCC, a yoked position. She was instrumental in founding the churches' annual Compassion Camp, an annual week-long service camp for young people. She has also directed the handbell choir at First Church in Woodstock for over twenty years. | |
