The Associate Conference Minister for Clergy Concerns is responsible to build relationships with and among the clergy throughout the whole Connecticut Conference, to provide ministries to enhance their faithfulness and effectiveness in their ministries and to promote respect for authorized ministry in our life as the church. She serves as the coordinator for the Regional Ministers, and furnishes staff support to the Central Association. The Rev. Barbara Libby most recently served as interim senior pastor at the Rocky Hill Congregational Church UCC, and before that at ten other Connecticut UCC congregations, and as a Conference Interim Regional Minister in three regions. A graduate of Yale Divinity School and Bates College, she has specialized training and experience in response team work, conflict management, and clergy misconduct prevention. She is a Certified Boundary Trainer for the Conference. | |
