The Conference Minister offers pastoral support and guidance to all the ministers and ministries of the Conference, including local church leaders, authorized UCC ministers, and Conference staff. The Rev. Charles Wildman served the Rock Spring United Church of Christ in Arlington, Virginia, for twenty years, during which time the church was actively involved with the Colombia Partnership, which unites the Connecticut and Central Atlantic Conferences with peace and justice activists in that South American nation. Prior to that, "Chuck" served for 12 years as Senior Pastor of the Vine Congregational Church UCC in Lincoln, Nebraska. He has Connecticut roots: a 1970 graduate of Yale Divinity School, his first call was as pastor of the First Church of Christ, Congregational, UCC, in Bethany. He lives on Cape Cod with his wife of over forty years, Anne Dunn Wildman. | |
