A conversation in the bookstore at our Spirituality and Stewardship conference yesterday revealed something very interesting. Someone asked why it was so difficult to find pulpit bibles anywhere, partcularly the NRSV version. It was revealed by the rep for the MBS that the publsihing house that has publsihed the NRSV will soon be owned by Mr. Murdoch and thus he will most likely own the copyright. I wonder what Gutenberg would say about that.
