Please read these instructions carefully.
Online registration is our preferred method of registration, and we request advance registration, if possible. Please go to www.ctucc.org and click on Annual Meeting; instructions will be there and you may pay with your credit card (MasterCard or Visa) or an electronic check — it’s easy!
A confirmation email will be sent to you after you register online, if you provide a correct email address.
No credit card charges will be accepted if you register by mail, so if you need to mail your registration form in, it must be accompanied by a check.
For registration questions, contact Sue Wilber (see Contact Information at the bottom of the next page).
Please register and pay by May 4, 2012. Note on the registration form that there is a cost savings if you register on or before May 4. You may register on arrival but a reserved lunch may not be available then.
The registration tables for those who pre-register and for walk-in registrations will be in the Commons Area of the high school.
We strongly encourage you to arrive on time. So much is going on during the day that you will want to take advantage of as many activities as you can.
You may eat your lunch in various places throughout the local area. There will be seating in the Commons and on the grounds of the high school, weather permitting. Lunchtime is a great time to gather in small groups for informal conversations.
Lunch reservations must be made by Friday, May 4.
A snack bar will be available for cash purchases of breakfast items, snacks, beverages, coffee, etc. in the Commons area, sponsored by the youth groups of First Church of Christ, Congregational in Suffield and West Suffield Congregational Church. Please note that no food or beverages (other than water) may be brought into the auditorium.
There will be extra lunches ordered for purchase by walk ins.
Parking is on site at the high school and is plentiful. There will also be special parking areas for handicapped parking and for those with mobility or other health issues.
Car-pooling is strongly encouraged.
Lodging in the area is also available and you are welcome to make your own arrangements. A flyer with suggestions is included on the webpage.
Child Care will be available at the church. It is necessary to reserve space for your child/children if you plan to utilize this service. Please check our website for the form to request this service or call Sue Wilber (contact information below) and she will send you a request form to reserve a space. Parents are to provide lunch for their child/children.
Click here to request special seating, sign language interpretation, dietary requirements, or other modifications, and contact Sue Wilber (see contact information below) to be sure we know how to accommodate you.
The meeting will open with gathering music in the auditorium at 8:50AM followed by the Call to Order, presentation of the Consent Agenda, welcoming remarks from our local hosts, a presentation on TAWFG (Thinking of Working about God), and introduction of Ken & Betty Frank, Global Ministries personnel in Turkey. Opening worship with Communion will begin at 9:30 am followed by the keynote presentation at 10:45 am, and closing worship will be at 4:45 pm.
We are offering pre-registration for workshops and the current offerings are included as part of the registration form. Your registration packet will include tickets for the workshops for which you have registered. A listing of workshops that still have space will be available at registration on May 12 for those who do not pre-register.
Displays and the Yale Divinity School bookstore will be in the Commons area of the high school and in the Main Street hallway.
Limited business will take place following the two afternoon workshop sessions. We will install officers, receive an update from the Conference Minister Search Committee, vote on the UCC Governance/By-Law proposal, celebrate new Green Churches in the Connecticut Conference, and recognize our outgoing Moderator.
