Kaji Spellman currently serves as Pastoral Resident at Wellesley Congregational (Village) Church in a two-year fellowship sponsored by the Lilly Foundation's Transitions into Ministry program. Her ministry at the Village Church includes worship leadership, preaching, pastoral care, leading a Disciple Series Bible study, supporting a Partakers prison ministry program, and working with the Roxbury Renaissance Center's Maafa Mentorship program through the Village Church's partnership with the Charles Street AME Church. A graduate of Yale Divinity School through the Institute of Sacred Music, Kaji studied liturgy and theology. Most recently, Kaji has served as the Acting Associate Pastor of First Congregational Church in Darien.
The Rev. Quinn G. Caldwell currently serves as Associate Minister at Old South Church in Boston (UCC), a deeply historical, proudly Christian, often radical thriving urban congregation. It seeks to live a new progressive Christianity, following the example of Jesus in taking the strong roots of an ancient tradition and growing from them new faith for a new day. Quinn’s work includes coordinating that Old South’s successful Jazz Worship Service, which integrates traditional worship forms with modern life in a syncopated rhythm. He also serves with the StillSpeaking Initiative at the national setting of the church. A lifelong member of the UCC, he graduated from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York. Before coming to Old South, he was one of the first two Pastoral Residents in the Wellesley Congregational (Village) Church’s Pastoral Residency Program.
