Amistad UCC pastor Bishop John Selders leads worship at Annual Meeting |
Around 600 delegates, authorized ministers, and visitors attended the Fall Session of the 139th Annual Meeting at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford on October 20-21, 2006. They heard a dynamic address from Conference Minister Davida Foy Crabtree, saw images of the impact their gifts have on communities around the world courtesy of Wider Church Ministries Executive Minister Cally Rogers-Witte, and ventured into the active phase of the Conference's Now for the Future Campaign for Silver Lake. The delegates also heard from Wider Church Ministries missionaries and team leaders, who further described United Church of Christ global mission and domestic disaster relief.
