Come to the Pre-Meeting Orientation!

For our third year, special Pre-Meeting Orientation Sessions have been planned. The sessions are for first time delegates or for return delegates who want to understand the Annual Meeting process better.

During these sessions our Conference Moderator will review the agenda with you, discuss issues coming before this year's meeting, and help you understand how to make a motion or write an amendment.

While there is an orientation session in each region, anyone from any region can attend the session that best fits his or her schedule.

Sunday, September 24, 2000, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Congregational Church of Naugatuck, Division Street

From Route 8 North: Take exit 26 and at the end of the exit, go straight ("jog" right) under the highway. At the next light, take a left turn onto Maple Street. At the second light, take a right onto Church Street, and an immediate left on Division Street. The church and driveway will be on your right.

From Route 8 South: Take exit 27 and take aright at the light. At the second light take a right onto Church Street, and an immediate left on Division Street. The church and driveway will be one your right.

From Interstate 95 North: Take exit 61 and turn right at the end of the exit ramp. At the second light, turn right onto Bradley Road. You will pass a Catholic Church and a ball field on your left. The driveway to the church parking lot is the first left after the ball field.

From Interstate 95 South: Take exit 61 and turn left at the end of the exit ramp. At the second light, turn right onto Bradley Road. You will pass a Catholic Church and a ball field on your left. The driveway to the church parking lot is the first left after the ball field.

From Interstate 84 east or westbound: Take exit 46 (Sisson & Farmington Avenues); at the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Sisson Avenue. At the second light, turn left onto Farmington Avenue. Take the FIRST right onto Girard Avenue (there's a Shell Station on the corner). Just before the first stop sign, turn right into our parking lot (there's a UCC sign). The United Church Center is a two-story brick building facing Sherman Street.
