SHARON (06/01/2012) -- Although a few of Silver Lake's forty summer conferences have had to begin waiting lists, there are still plenty of places available for young people to experience the deep spiritual connections, fast friendships, raucous fun, and inner peace that is Silver Lake Conference Center.
As the sun finally shines a little longer this spring, imagine your bare feet greeting the warm sand between your toes. Imagine the fireflies sparkling along the tree line above the camp fire. Hear the singing floating over the hill from the Waterfall Chapel. Revel in the delight of discovering a new best friend in the bunk above you. In your imagination, you're at Silver Lake already! Greet God in God's back yard! Silver Lake Conferences Calendar

With nearly 1,000 registrations already in, it's increasingly important for families to get their children to sign up for a Silver Lake conference. Some popular offerings have just one or two spaces left before they, too, will need to start taking names for a waiting list.
Because of the number of days school systems lost to severe weather in the fall, young people interested in the Pioneer pre-camp conference, which does yeoman's service preparing the facility before the season fully starts, can attend for part of the week. If a high school youth can arrive by Wednesday, June 20, they can participate in Pioneer. For information, call Jennifer Kronholm Clark, the Silver Lake Registrar, at 860.364.5526.
