In the United Church of Christ's 50th anniversary year, we came together, inspired by our theme "Let It Shine!" Our first 50 years as the UCC in Connecticut have shown the world a united and uniting church, "Created by God, Called by Jesus Christ, Guided by the Holy Spirit." We are a people who listen for the still-speaking God, a church committed to Christian community marked by the pursuit of justice, reconciliation, and peace. Now in a fitting link to our first 50 years, we embark with renewed purpose, as we "Let It Shine… In the the Future!"
