HARTFORD (08/03/2007) -- Thanks to all of you - women, children and men - who baked cookies and helped us reach our ambitious goal for General Synod 26 and the 50th Anniversary celebration.
The CT Women of the UCC extend their appreciation and a heartfelt thank you for organizing, baking and delivering more than 13,000 dozen cookies.
The “Cookie Table” was a gathering place for delegates and visitors, who marveled at and sampled the many varieties off ered for free each of the five days.
By baking cookies, you helped contribute to the extravagant hospitality that the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ off ered to this extraordinary “family reunion.”
