HARTFORD (06/05/2007) -- If you haven’t yet put on your apron, please join us in this sweet endeavor to provide hospitality to all the delegates and visitors to General Synod. It’s a Synod tradition for the host Conference, a way of making our guests feel at home - and what better way than to bake cookies!
The Connecticut Women of the United Church of Christ are coordinating this area of hospitality to help welcome people to Hartford, June 22-26.
We expect to serve 14,000 dozen cookies. That’s right – we expect to serve about 168,000 cookies! If yours is one of the 150 churches that have already responded, WE THANK YOU! If your church has not pledged, consider yourself asked.
We already have more then 10,000 dozen cookies pledged, so we’re well on our way! Please help us reach our goal, and be a part of General Synod.
