ELYRIA, OH (05/21/2007) -- One of the highlights of General Synod worship for many years has been striking sacred movement and liturgical dance. The worship planners seek a team of dancers to participate in three worship services.
To be part of the team, dancers must meet all of the following requirements:
1. Be between 14 and 29 years of age.
2. Have at least one year of movement experience (can include gymnastics, yoga, martial arts and/or any type of dance instruction). No liturgical dance or sacred movement experience is necessary.
3. Commit to being a part of the Synod Sacred Movement Group and attend rehearsals (times TBA) and worship services Friday, June 22, through Tuesday, June 26.
4. Provide black shirt and pants (details TBA).
